Sibirsky Extreme Trail, 2012, is currently underway. Its a first ever attempt to ride from the EU to Magadan (Europe to the Pacific) off road, using dirt tracks, gravel roads and even trackless cross country when necessary. Another aspect of small bikes not considered is that they keep the world larger. Like the difference between a Lear jet that can take you any where in the world in a matter of hours verses a piper cub that can take you any where you want to go and land in your state. On my small bike I can take a 300 mile trip out in the desert
